Bonjour!

I hope everyone’s day is going well. I know we are off to a slow start with some technological issues but any new adventure has a few bumps in the road!

I wanted to send out a note to let you know that I am here for you with any issues you may have and to let you know there is no need to worry if you couldn’t access the school web page today.  I am starting very slow and trying to make this transition as easy on students and parents as possible.

Given the tech issues we are having today, I probably will not reach out to parents and students for a day or two. This will give everyone a chance to get started and figure out what home learning might look like for them.

Moving forward, I am hoping to contact home on a weekly basis to touch base with my students and their families to see how things are going.  

If possible, could parents please send me an e-mail with the best way to contact you (phone or e-mail) and if there are particular times that work best for you.

I would really enjoy speaking to my students over the phone. This will allow us to have some conversations in French but I understand not everyone is ready or comfortable with this yet. This is totally fine. I want to assure you that I am whiling to do whatever is best for my class.

I have posted a lot of information on my site today and moving forward I will try to condense my post and keep everything in one place if possible.
