It is getting that time of year where scholarship applications are starting to come into the school. All scholarships will be posted on this web site, in the grade 12 classroom and will be sent out through the Scholarship Email list. If any student and/or parent has not yet signed up for emails please just let me know and I will add you. Also, it is important for students to start asking for at least 2 reference letters. You can ask a teacher, an employer, a clergy member, or a neighbour. References should not be from immediate family members. The following 3 scholarships are now available: 1. Bullying Canada Scholarship - Due February 28th. There are 2 scholarships of $250.00 and 1 scholarship of $500.00. The application is in 2 parts. The winner will be based on academic achievement and financial need. 2. Co-Op Atlantic McEwen Scholarship - Due March 1st. The value is $1000 for 4 years for a total of $4000.00. In order to apply the student or parent must be a member of Co-Op Atlantic or the student or parent must work for Co-Op Atlantic. 3. Dialogue NB Scholarship - Due April 19th. There are 2 scholarships of $1000.00. Students applying need 1 letter of recommendation and 3 copies of the application.
