The House of Commons Page program is now accepting applications.  Applicants must have an 80% average and speak both official languages.  Applicants must also plan on studying in the Ottawa area after graduation.  For more information visit ourcommons.ca/page.  Applications are due December 3rd.

Applications for the TD Scholarships for Community Leadership are now available online at www.td.com/scholarships.  The scholarship is valued at $70,000 and is due Nov.16th.  Applicants must have a 75% average and demonstrate outstanding community leadership.

Shad is an intense STEAM  based program that focuses on academic learning through lectures, workshops, labs, and group projects.  Students live in residence at the host university for the month of July.  Students will take part in classroom activities, field trips, and outdoor and recreational activities.  SHAD is open to students in grade 10, 11, or 12.  Apply at www.shad.ca/apply (link is external) by November 19

UNB will be hosting a Future Student Event on Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 7:00 pm at the Rodd Miramichi.

 

The session will feature a presentation and a chance to talk with UNB representatives about admissions, scholarships, student life and more.

 

The session is open to anyone who is interested in learning more about UNB.

 

Interested grade 12 students can have their applications assessed at the event.  Please arrive at 6:30 for Admission on the Spot.  You will need to fill out the online application at least 48 hours before the event.  You will also need to bring an official transcript and the $65 application fee (if you did not pay it online).  Admission on the spot is not available for Engineering, Nursing, or Renaissance College

The Schulich Leader Scholarship is valued at $100,000.  Applicants must be pursuing studies in science, technology, engineering or math but not be planning a career as a medical practitioner.  Applicants must be enrolling in one of the partner universities and also demonstrate 2 of the following 3 criteria: financial need, leadership, and academic excellence.  Anybody interested in applying for this scholarship is asked to see Mrs. Breau by December 5th

 

 

 

The University of Toronto National Scholar Award is valued at $100000.  Applicants must be planning to attend the University of Toronto and demonstrate academic excellence, original and creative thought, and extra curricular commitments.  Deadline to apply is Nov. 1.  For more info visit www.uoft.me/national-scholarship
