A few friendly reminders... - It is now cold and wet outside- please remember to dress for the weather conditions :) - Food bank donations are still being accepted. Any donation is helpful for those in need during the holiday season!  - Bonus day is this Friday, December 6th! - The Christmas formal is next Thursday, December 12th.   Grade 8- This week we will be learning about music in the past. Our focus will be on what people used to listen to music and how the music is different. Students will also learn to express their thoughts and feelings towards music of the past. Rubrics have been sent home for the project on clothing. Please sign and return as soon as possible. Thank you!     Grade 7- This week we will be talking about great Canadians. Students did a mini research last week on a chosen Canadian and this week we will discuss the different Canadians and do a small presentation on their chosen person. Rubrics have been sent home for the letter students wrote to an important person in their lives. Please sign and return as soon as possible! Thank you! Grade 6- This week students are talking about the pros and cons of hunting. I will be asking for personal opinions and then we will do a small research on the benefits and negative effects of hunting. We are also starting our final project for our unit on fall- creating a small book on a fall theme. Students must have their topic chosen for Friday.
