A few friendly reminders... - It is still cold and wet outside- please remember to dress for the weather conditions :) - I am still missing some signed report card enveloppes- please bring these in as soon as possible!    Grade 8- Our final projects have all been presented (finally!). We have started our third unit of the year "Un album souvenir de classe" which is about: ·  Share events from one’s life   · Explain why a person is considered important   · Express qualities of a person   · Give the main characteristics of a student We will be doing a few projects in this unit and I look forward to learning even more about each student through this unit!  :) -Title pages are due tomorrow.   - Please have your final project rubrics signed and returned for tomorrow.   Grade 7- This week we have started our third unit on "Un camp pour ados" which is about: · Analyse daily activity choices   · Identify camp activities and plan a schedule   · Present rules, security norms and the equipment needed for an activity   · Describe and analyse ones eating habits   · Write an information brochure The students seem excited about this unit and I look forward to it with them!   -Title pages are due tomorrow.     - Please have your final project rubrics signed and returned for tomorrow. Grade 6- This week we have started our third unit on "Les phénomènes étranges au Canada" which details the following: · Describe a monster   · Present a phenomenon   · Discuss characteristics of a phenomenon (fiction or non-fiction)   · Express reactions to a strange phenomenon   The students had a lot to share today about strange things that they have heard of or experienced. I am certain this unit will be an interesting one! -Title pages are due tomorrow.    - Please have your final project rubrics signed and returned for tomorrow.
